Brad Reger was arrested on July 6th, 2023 at the Long Valley Agricultural Inspection Station on the California/Nevada border near Doyle, California. He was going from the airport in Reno, Nevada to his home in Susanville, California after a lengthy trip to visit his family in the UK. A joint task force of federal agents was waiting for Reger to cross the border into California and apprehended him as soon as he did so. Reger was then transported to the Sacramento County Jail and has remained held there without bail ever since. After his arrest, Reger was indicted in Federal Court on a 5-count charge for committing sexual crimes against children. Separately a civil lawsuit against Reger, his many associates, and multiple affiliated organizations has been filed on behalf of over a dozen alleged victims of his crimes.
RECENT UPDATES

A federal grand jury returned a superseding indictment against Bradley Earl Reger, charging him with seven additional violations of transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct, and coercion and enticement. He pleaded "not guilty" in person at the federal courthouse in Sacramento.

A second but related case against Brad Reger is now filed in federal court. Differing from the criminal charges, this action is a federal civil suit involving three of Brad's properties that the government is attempting to take posession of.

The department of justice has charged Brad Reger with seven additional felonies in federal court, bringing the total number of felony charges in this case to 12.

This new lawsuit will be eventually combined with the first, as they are substantively identical in their complaints. The total number of victims now involved in legal actions agains Brad Reger, The Church Of The Nazarene, and dozens of pther entities and accomplices, now stands at 32 individuals.

A status hearing was held, and the judge opted to schedule another status hearing in lieu of setting a preliminary trial date. This second status hearing will be held on 10/02/2024, 2 PM at the Robert T. Matsui United Courthouse; Courtroom 2, 15th Floor in Sacramento, CA.

In early summer 2022, the Church of the Nazarene received its second complaint in a few months detailing alleged sexual abuse by Brad Reger. After not doing anything with the first report, they were eventually persuaded to look into the allegations detailed in the second report. The church opened an internal investigation and hired a team of private investigators to begin to gather information. In November 2022 the FBI took over the investigation from the Nazarene’s after they failed to properly report the details of their findings to the correct authorities. Many facets of the global corporate empire of the Nazarene Church will be named in a forthcoming civil suit against Brad Reger, his conspirators, and his enablers.
